The Royal

The Royal is a modern pub focused on quality food, great drinks, and elevated pub experience. The menu is made for sharing and is suited to casual get-togethers with pub classics given the royal touch. The venue opened in November 2019 and is located on the corner  of Wellington & William Streets in the Perth CBD.

The team is passionate about food, wine and hospitality. Executive Chef Chase Weber along with Head Chefs Shane Middleton & Ricky Lim oversee The Royal, Fleur & Willi’s.

Full-time Chef de Partie

About the Role
As a Chef de Partie you will join our creative culinary team. You will assist in the preparation and service of food items, providing support and working within an experienced team.

Responsibilities Include 

  • Assist in the preparation and production of dishes to the highest possible standard.
  • Assist in maintaining a minimal food cost by preparing and storing food items correctly.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and tidy at the end of service/shift.
  • Assist with the daily requisition of food and equipment items.
  • Ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene procedures are adhered to at all time.

What We Are Looking For 

  • Experience in this role working in a quality establishment.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in the role.
  • Sound knowledge of food and produce.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure in a fast paced, high volume pub and restaurant.
  • Have full Australian working rights.
  • Available to work nights and weekends.
  • Immediate start.

Full Time Duty Manager

We are seeking an experienced duty manager, one who loves wine, cocktails, people and beautifully crafted food.

  • Experience in this role working in a quality establishment.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in the role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge of bar service standards, cocktail design, creation and execution.
  • Works well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Valid WA RSA certificate.
  • Have full Australian working rights.
  • Available to work nights and weekends.
